Two volunteers from Norway spend several months making important contributions to children's lives. After 15 years, they are still remembered fondly.

Kevin and Bea served as volunteers, Kevin served the Board for many years. He died tragically shortly after this photo. His deep commitment and bruised heart is missed by all who were privilidged enough to know him.

Nancy and Star volunteered Hillbrow Drop-In Center 1995. Prieur has been involved with The House Group for almost two decades, served the Board and as Executive Director for many years.
Nomzamo Gaqelo 1995
Nomzamo rose throug the ranks. She arrived at Hillbrow Drop-In Center escaping an abusive home and over the years proved herself indispensable. She managed programs, ran divisions and grew up to be an important asset to the organization. We love her dearly.

1000 Olive Trees
We planted 1,000 olive trees on the 100acre land owned by Kulula Skills Center. Mature, they would yield sufficient income to run the programme making it self-sufficient.

Sophie is a much-loved and most influential volunteer. She has been associated with The House Group on many levels over the past 25 years. Here she is with a male volunteer and several girls in the residential care program.
